Annie Marcia Grindle & Ethan Hiram Snyder
Annie Marcia Grindle and Ethan Hiram Snyder will unite in marriage Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Wingfoot Lake State Park in Mogadore.
Annie is the daughter of Kim Grindle of Wadsworth and John Grindle of Sharon Township. She is a 2007 graduate of Wadsworth High School, earning three letters in cheerleading and four in track and field, where she was a three-time Division I All-Ohioan as a member of the 4x100- and 4x200-meter relays.
Annie then graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art in fashion merchandising in 2011 from Ursuline College. She became the school’s first participant at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics national track and field meet and was inducted into the athletic hall of fame in May.
She is currently the assistant operations manager for JCPenney at the Great Lakes Mall in Mentor.
Ethan is the son of Shelly and Duane Snyder of Salesville, Ohio. He is a 2009 graduate of Buckeye Trail High School in Lore City, Ohio, and earned Division III All-Ohio awards in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles as a junior and senior.
Ethan continued his athletic career at Lake Erie College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in science in entrepreneurship and became the school’s first NCAA Division II All-American. He was awarded the distinction twice in the 400 hurdles and once as a member of the 4x400 relay.
He is currently the distillery manager for Cleveland Whiskey LLC in Cleveland and lives with his fiance in Painesville.
The maid of honor and best man are the couple’s respective twin siblings, Jaimie (Grindle) Perry and Isaac Snyder.
