Franklin Wayne Triplett, 59, of Spencer, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Regency Medical Center in Middleburg Heights. He was born in Killeen, Texas on July 14, 1958 to Franklin D. and Loretta (Sattler) Triplett.
Wayne grew up in the Litchfield and Lodi areas, and later lived in Olmsted Falls and West Virginia. He had resided in Spencer the past 30 years. He was currently employed at Mack Industries in Valley City, where he has worked for over 30 years. Wayne loved watching his grandchildren play sports and enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. He also played guitar and was a fantasy sports enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (nee Lucas); sons, Franklin D. (Nikki) of Homerville, Jack of West Salem and Jonathan (Alena) of Spencer; grandchildren, Lucas, Aubrie, Kadin and Jamison and sister, Vivian (Butch) Gratz of Sebring, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 12 Noon to 2 P.M. at the Spencer First Baptist Church, 302 West Main St., Spencer, where the funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. (immediately following the visitation). Pastor Jeff Mullet will officiate. Burial will follow at Spencer Cemetery.
